About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa features a low-profile timber platform base and plush grey upholstered cushions for a relaxed aesthetic. Designed with a clean, low-slung profile, this sofa centres around a solid timber platform base that provides a warm, natural contrast to the soft upholstery. The seating consists of two oversized, plush cushions finished in a light grey fabric, paired with four square scatter cushions featuring a subtle, tonal micro-check pattern. The frame is constructed with simple, visible joinery, giving the piece an honest, structural appeal. The proportions are deep and inviting, prioritising comfort while maintaining a minimalist silhouette that works well in modern, open-plan living spaces or casual lounge areas.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the timber base and upholstery components. The fabric textures are mapped with appropriate tiling, and the timber grain is UV-unwrapped to follow the orientation of the frame members. Users should verify the scale against their scene units upon insertion. The model is prepared for standard lighting setups, and the geometry is clean, ensuring efficient performance when rendering in various production environments.

This sofa is ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and contemporary office breakout spaces where a relaxed yet structured seating solution is required. It pairs well with low-profile coffee tables, natural area rugs, and minimalist interior palettes. Search for this piece when specifying furniture for projects that require a blend of Scandinavian warmth and modern comfort. It provides a versatile anchor for lounge settings, effectively bridging the gap between casual comfort and refined, architectural design language.
