A water softener system Revit family featuring a vertical blue resin vessel, rectangular brine tank, inline piping, and circulation pump. This plumbing assembly includes a tall cylindrical blue resin cylinder capped with an automatic digital control valve head. Beside it stands a rectangular white brine storage cabinet complete with a lift-off top lid and small-bore brine line connection. Upstream, a compact grey electric booster pump drives feed water through an overhead manifold fitted with three brass quarter-turn ball valves. A secondary cylindrical pre-filter housing and vertical discharge pipe drops complete the skid configuration, providing complete geometric representation of residential or light commercial water treatment apparatus.
The download is a 870 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Load the RFA family directly into Autodesk Revit MEP or architectural models to coordinate mechanical room clearances. Pipe connectors are provided at the pump suction and softened water outlet terminals, allowing direct routing into domestic cold water supply networks. Adjust instance or type properties where available, and set system graphics or worksets to maintain clean plumbing schematics in plans, sections, and coordinated BIM clash views.
Engineered for residential basements, utility rooms, mechanical plant spaces, and commercial back-of-house utility areas, this water filtration unit fits into domestic water treatment layouts. MEP engineers and BIM coordinators frequently specify this model when laying out water conditioning, filtration skids, or whole-house softening plants. It coordinates cleanly alongside domestic hot water cylinders, storage tanks, and incoming water service mains across single-family villas, multi-family developments, and hospitality projects.
