About this asset

This contemporary linear 5 light pendant light is a Revit family featuring a wood beam housing and five glass shades for task lighting. The fixture features a horizontal timber beam that serves as the central housing for five vertical glass cylinder shades. The assembly is suspended from the ceiling by two thin cables connected to a black metal frame, which provides a rigid structure for the light sources. The warm natural wood tone contrasts with the black metal supports, creating a balanced aesthetic suitable for modern interiors. The design is clean and functional, with an emphasis on symmetrical geometry and clear material separation between the wood, glass, and metal components.

The download is a 338 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

As a ceiling-hosted Revit family, this light is designed for direct placement onto horizontal planes or reference levels. Users can adjust the suspension length via parameters to suit varying ceiling heights. The light source is integrated within the family, allowing for accurate light distribution analysis and rendering in Revit’s native environment or external engines. Ensure the light source is correctly oriented within the project file to maintain consistent illumination patterns across the floor plan and interior sections.

This linear pendant is ideal for installation above kitchen islands, dining tables, or long reception desks in residential and commercial projects. It provides focused illumination, making it a functional choice for task-heavy environments where style is equally prioritized. Designers often specify this piece in open-plan living areas or boutique office break-out spaces to define a specific zone.
