About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp reception desk features a fluted timber base with a contrasting white marble front panel and black surface. The reception desk presents a clean, linear profile suitable for professional environments. Its primary structure consists of a textured, fluted timber base that provides a subtle rhythmic detail. A prominent white marble panel with grey veining is applied to the front, acting as a focal point, accented by gold-toned lettering. The work surface is finished in a matte black, providing a sharp contrast to the lighter wood and stone elements. This assembly includes an integrated computer monitor and minimalist pendant lighting, creating a complete, ready-to-use professional station with balanced proportions and material variety.

The download is a 5.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this desk into a SketchUp project, place it as a component within your reception area model. Use the move and rotate tools to align the unit with your floor plan. Because the model is organized into logical groups, you can easily apply custom materials to the timber fluting or marble slab through the material editor. Ensure the desk is set to the correct height relative to your finished floor level to maintain accurate ergonomic proportions in your final interior visualizations.

This piece is ideal for modern office lobbies, hotel foyers, or high-end retail showrooms. It pairs effectively with minimalist seating, indoor potted plants, and contemporary wall panelling to create a welcoming first impression. When searching for this asset, colleagues often look for professional front desks, hotel check-in counters, or corporate lobby furniture. It works well in both early-stage spatial planning and detailed high-fidelity interior renders where a sophisticated, clean aesthetic is required for client presentations.
