About this asset

This contemporary floor lamp is a Revit family featuring a slender timber frame and a frosted bowl shade for ambient uplighting. This floor lamp features a distinctively tall, slender structure composed of curved wooden uprights connected by circular bracing rings. The frame tapers inward towards the top, culminating in a frosted glass bowl shade designed to cast soft, upward-directed light. The timber construction provides a warm, natural aesthetic, while the minimalist, open-frame design ensures a lightweight visual presence. The base consists of four gently flared feet, providing stability for the elongated form. Its proportions are suited for corner placement or as a sculptural accent in a living area or lounge space.

The download is a 225 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

As a native Revit family, this luminaire is designed for quick placement within floor plans or interior elevations. Users can easily adjust the mounting height or orientation using standard rotation tools. The light source is pre-configured for integration with Revit’s rendering engine, allowing for accurate light distribution studies. Simply load the family into your project, assign it to a dedicated lighting electrical workset, and use the type parameters to adjust material finishes or toggle visibility states for documentation purposes.

This piece is ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or quiet reading corners where indirect ambient lighting is required. It pairs well with mid-century or contemporary interiors, providing a warm focal point in both domestic and hospitality settings. Professionals typically search for this as an uplighter or decorative floor lamp when specifying lighting schedules for high-end residential projects or boutique hospitality environments. Its slim footprint makes it particularly effective for tight corners or small-scale interior design schemes requiring sophisticated, understated illumination.
