Modern Wood U-Shaped Office Desk with Pedestal

This U-shaped office desk Revit family features an ergonomic wraparound worktop supported by post legs and an integrated drawer pedestal. The assembly comprises a continuous horseshoe-shaped worksurface that transitions from a deep primary desk area into a rounded bridge and return wing. Supporting the light-toned wood surface are slender square profile legs distributed around the outer perimeter and interior curve to provide stability. Beneath the right-hand primary workstation sits a suspended under-desk pedestal unit with two flush drawer fronts, offering integrated compact personal storage without obstructing floor space. Clean edge banding and straightforward orthogonal joinery give the desk a functional, streamlined corporate aesthetic suited to focused administrative stations.

Load this standard furniture component directly into any Revit project environment to establish space planning and circulation clearances. The component places easily on active floor levels, facilitating rapid fit-out iterations across commercial floor plates. Assign standard Revit system materials or custom wood laminates via the Type or Instance parameters to match specific interior FF&E schedules, ensuring clean graphic representation in both 2D furniture plans and shaded 3D views.

Ideally suited for executive offices, administrative suites, reception control stations, and private consultation rooms, this layout accommodates multi-monitor setups and dedicated paperwork zones within a single compact footprint. Architects and interior designers frequently specify this configuration when laying out corporate headquarters, academic faculty offices, or healthcare administrative areas, pairing seamlessly with task chairs, monitor arms, and matching credenzas for comprehensive commercial interior packages.
