About this asset

Characterised by asymmetric tiered compartments, this geometric bookshelf is a freestanding Revit family designed for modern interiors. Designed as a tall rectangular case piece, the unit features an outer perimeter frame enclosing a dynamic arrangement of open cubbies and staggered shelves. Interlocking vertical and horizontal dividers create varied compartment sizes, echoing traditional Chinese curio cabinets in an updated, clean-lined silhouette. Rendered in a neutral grey finish with crisp edge definition, the assembly offers open display space without back panels or hardware, allowing visual transparency straight through the core. Its solid framing provides structured separation between compartments of diverse widths and heights for books, ceramics, and ornaments.

The download is a 195 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this Revit family directly into project templates or interior layout models to place it as freestanding joinery. Position the component against perimeter walls or float it within open plans to serve as a room divider. Material parameters can be reassigned via the family properties to match custom timber veneers, painted joinery, or powder-coated metal finishes required for project schedules.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel suites, executive lounges, and reception lobbies, this unit functions effectively as decorative storage or an open spatial partition. Specifiers looking for an Asian modern bookshelf, curio cabinet, geometric display unit, or architectural room divider will find this model well suited to space-planning schemes and design development renders alongside contemporary seating and statement lighting.
