About this asset

Modernist multicoloured wood lounge chair Revit family featuring a bold canted red backrest, blue seat board, and black rectilinear framing. Faithfully inspired by classic De Stijl constructivism, this armchair combines primary colours with an open rectilinear timber framework. The structure comprises black square-section rails and stiles joined at overlapping intersections, with bright yellow contrast painted on each exposed cross-cut end. A vivid blue planar seat board sits angled slightly backwards, slotted between the side uprights. Rising at a steeper diagonal behind it, the elongated red timber backrest extends past the top horizontal armrest rails. Flat armrests project forward over the vertical support members to complete the geometric composition.

The download is a 236 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this standalone furniture family directly into Revit interior models without requiring host elements. Place instances onto finished floor plans or levels to articulate layout spacing in living areas and public lounges. Material parameters can be adjusted in the family editor or type properties to match specific project finishes, while realistic visual styles display the primary colour-blocked surfaces accurately in both working viewports and rendered presentations.

Ideal for statement seating in modernist residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, museum galleries, and design studio reception zones. Interior architects can specify this sculptural lounge chair as an accent piece alongside neutral sofas, minimalist credenzas, and sleek coffee tables. The iconic profile serves visualisers searching for De Stijl seating, geometric occasional chairs, or avant-garde furniture accents during concept design presentations, design development documentation, and high-end visualisations.
