About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max TV wall unit features grey marble cladding and integrated black shelving with ambient lighting. This media wall system is designed with a central panel clad in grey veined marble, providing a sophisticated backdrop for a flat-screen television. Flanking the central section are two tall, vertical shelving units finished in matte black, which include built-in concealed lighting to highlight decorative objects. The base incorporates a low-profile media console area with space for audio equipment and speakers. The clean, linear geometry of the unit emphasises a minimalist aesthetic, while the contrast between the cool-toned stone and dark metal framework creates a structured, high-end appearance for a modern living space.

The download is a 39.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers to facilitate easy management of the shelving, marble panels, and lighting components. Users should ensure that the lighting intensity is adjusted to suit the scene exposure settings. The unit is scaled to standard residential floor-to-ceiling heights, allowing for quick insertion into interior architectural models. Material mapping for the marble textures is pre-applied, though users may need to adjust the UV coordinates if scaling the unit to fit custom room dimensions.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, this media wall serves as a primary focal point in open-plan apartments or luxury home cinemas. It pairs well with minimalist furniture and neutral palettes, helping to define the television area within a larger space. Designers frequently use this type of feature wall when specifying bespoke joinery or high-end media installations in contemporary interiors.
