About this asset

Modern chrome and glass shelving unit Revit family featuring an open metal frame with curved support arcs and four transparent shelves. This freestanding étagère balances a slender polished metal structure with four floating horizontal surfaces. The primary vertical uprights connect through sweeping semi-circular curved ribs that intersect at the centre, forming an eye-catching hourglass outline across the structure. Four rectangular glass shelves sit within the metal supports, providing open tiers for books, framed art, and decorative items. The combination of reflective chrome and transparent panels ensures visual lightness, preventing visual clutter while delivering substantial vertical display capacity.

The download is a 389 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this component directly into a Revit project as a standard furniture family. Position the model on any level or reference plane without requiring host geometry. Users can adjust material properties within the family type parameters, assigning custom glass tints or brushed metal finishes to match client specifications for high-resolution rendering passes and interior elevation documentation.

Tailored for contemporary residential layouts, this open shelving unit functions well against living room feature walls, in home office suites, or as an airy room partition between seating zones. It also complements executive offices, boutique hotel suites, and retail showrooms needing minimalist display fixtures. Designers searching for a curved metal bookcase, glass shelving unit, or open étagère will find this versatile component easy to integrate alongside modern lounge furniture and lighting fixtures.
