Contemporary Monochrome Leather and Fabric Modular Sectional Sofa

This contemporary modular sectional sofa for 3ds Max features a striking monochrome split design with contrasting leather and fabric sections. Defined by its bold, dual-tone aesthetic, this modular sectional sofa balances a soft, upholstered white fabric section with a sleek, tufted black leather segment. The design incorporates a clean-lined rectangular frame, supported by a slim, understated metal base that provides a floating effect. Included are four scatter cushions arranged in alternating colours to complement the split-finish upholstery. The right-hand side features an integrated side ledge, extending the functional surface area. Proportions are low-profile and expansive, making it a focal point for modern interior layouts requiring a balance of texture and high-contrast visual impact.

The download is a 34.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the cushions and sofa body. Users should ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise placement against walls or within an open-plan space. The material definitions are separated by object ID, allowing for quick adjustments to the leather sheen or fabric weave intensity. When lighting the scene, apply a high-quality environment map to capture the subtle highlights across the tufted leather surface and the matte finish of the white fabric upholstery.
