Contemporary Grey Fabric Low-Profile Lounge Chair

This contemporary grey fabric lounge chair for SketchUp features a low-profile floor-level design with distinct seamed edges. This contemporary lounge chair is defined by its low-slung, floor-level profile, offering a relaxed and minimalist aesthetic. The piece is upholstered in a textured grey fabric that appears soft yet structured, with prominent vertical seams outlining the boxy, geometric form of the seat and backrest. Its design relies on simple, clean lines, creating a unified silhouette that prioritizes comfort and casual lounging. The lack of legs or raised base gives it a grounded appearance, making it suitable for modern, informal interior spaces where a low-to-the-ground seating arrangement is desired.

The download is a 6.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this SketchUp model, ensure the object is placed on a flat surface component to maintain its intended floor-level aesthetic. Users should check the component axes upon insertion to facilitate easy alignment with walls or other furniture. If applying custom textures, utilize the native material editor to adjust the scale of the fabric mapping to match the scene's overall resolution. The model is lightweight, allowing for efficient placement in multiple instances within a larger room layout without significantly impacting viewport performance.

This lounge chair is ideal for casual living rooms, media rooms, or contemporary loft spaces where a relaxed atmosphere is prioritized. It pairs well with low-profile coffee tables or can be arranged in clusters to create a comfortable conversation area in a studio apartment or a boutique hotel lobby. Designers searching for floor-level seating, modern lounge furniture, or minimalist accent chairs will find this item versatile for residential and hospitality projects that require a clean, understated aesthetic in their 3D visualizations.
