About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a neoclassical black marble fireplace with a polished copper surround, complete with curated hearth accessories. This fireplace assembly presents a formal, neoclassical aesthetic defined by a deep black marble mantelpiece and surround. The firebox opening is framed by a distinct, polished copper trim that provides a warm metallic contrast to the dark stone. The set includes a comprehensive suite of decorative elements: a framed classical painting, an assortment of pillar candles, glass candle holders, and a set of wrought iron fireplace tools resting on a matching stone hearth. The proportions are balanced, reflecting traditional architectural fireplace designs suitable for formal living or drawing rooms.

The download is a 30 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical groups for the fireplace, tools, and decor, allowing for easy placement within a scene. Users should check the pivot points to ensure correct alignment against walls. Material slots are assigned for the marble and copper surfaces, which can be adjusted for specific render engine reflections. Lighting the firebox requires careful placement of local light sources to simulate the glow of the included log fire effect, ensuring realistic illumination of the surrounding mantel and hearth.
