Designed for institutional accommodation, this Revit sleeping cubicle family features integrated storage partitions and a single bed platform. The unit is constructed with flat-panel light wood cabinetry forming a semi-enclosed micro-environment. A raised platform supports a single mattress upholstered in red checked textile, positioned above two wide under-bed storage drawers with horizontal pull handles. Vertical side units flank the sleeping niche, providing full-height partition dividers, open shelving tiers, and deep compartment voids for personal belongings. The high perimeter backboard and wing partitions create acoustic and visual privacy while maintaining a compact footprint suited for modular arrangement in high-density facilities.
The download is a 379 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Delivered as an RFA family, the component loads directly into Revit projects for space planning, schematic layout testing, and furniture scheduling. Material finish parameters can be assigned through the family properties to align with specific project palettes. Plan view symbols and clear 3D geometry enable rapid arraying across dormitory grids without inflating project file sizes.
This casework module is intended for homeless shelter interiors, emergency housing facilities, disaster relief centres, and hostel dormitories. Architects and interior designers deploy this unit during schematic design and fit-out documentation to establish modular sleeping layouts and capacity calculations. Commonly searched under institutional bunk beds, privacy sleeping pods, welfare facility casework, and transitional shelter furniture, the asset coordinates cleanly alongside standard commercial interior finishes and utilitarian lockers.
