Oriental Wood Slatted Room Divider Set

This SketchUp model features a pair of oriental-style wooden slatted room dividers with integrated traditional landscape artwork. These freestanding room dividers feature a dark-stained timber frame with a vertical slatted design, characteristic of traditional Asian screens. The top corners of the frame extend outward in subtle, elegant curves. Each screen incorporates a central, inset panel displaying a detailed, hand-painted style landscape scene featuring architectural motifs and natural topography. One screen is oriented vertically, while the other is horizontal, providing versatility for interior spatial planning. The construction details suggest a high-quality joinery approach, with the panels framed securely within the rhythmic, repetitive timber slats that allow for light filtration.

In SketchUp, these models are structured as distinct components, allowing for easy placement and rotation within your scene. The materials are applied as high-resolution textures on the central panels, which can be swapped or adjusted using the material editor. To ensure optimal performance in larger interior scenes, consider placing these on a dedicated layer for toggling visibility during the modelling process. If rendering, ensure the wood texture mapping is consistent with your lighting environment to maintain the intended warm, natural aesthetic.
