About this asset

This modern six-drawer storage cabinet is a native Revit family featuring a clean-lined metal frame and integrated cable access. Designed for utility and efficiency, this storage unit features a robust rectangular frame housing six individual drawers arranged in a two-by-three grid. The exterior is finished in a neutral grey, providing a versatile aesthetic suitable for professional or home office environments. A prominent cable grommet is recessed into the top surface, suggesting its primary use as a base for equipment or as a standalone storage solution. The design is utilitarian, focusing on clean lines and functional geometry, making it an excellent candidate for space-saving layouts in constrained architectural floor plans.

The download is a 266 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this family into your project to populate office layouts or storage zones. Use the instance parameters to manage placement within your floor plans and ensure the cable management feature is aligned with your electrical outlet locations. The model maintains a simplified geometry, which is ideal for maintaining performance in large-scale office projects. Users should map the grey material to their preferred project-wide finishes to ensure consistency across internal elevations and 3D views throughout the design process.

This storage unit is well-suited for commercial office fit-outs, educational facilities, or home workspaces where document and supply organization is required. It pairs effectively with modern desk systems and modular shelving units. Professionals searching for efficient office furniture, filing cabinets, or compact storage solutions will find this asset useful during the schematic design and construction documentation phases. Its neutral appearance allows it to integrate into various interior design schemes, from high-tech corporate environments to minimalist residential studio spaces.
