About this asset

This set of five potted Ficus indoor plants for SketchUp features varied heights and textured ceramic or stone containers. This collection comprises five distinct Ficus indoor plants, showcasing variations in height and foliage density. The plants are housed in a mix of containers, including terracotta-style pots with geometric patterns, a grey ribbed ceramic pot, and a textured white stone planter. One plant is elevated on a rustic wooden stool, adding vertical interest to the arrangement. The foliage displays realistic shades of vibrant green, while the thin, woody stems provide a delicate structure. The set offers a versatile range of scales suitable for populating diverse interior compositions.

The download is a 68.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 5 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these components are managed as individual groups or components, allowing for easy placement and scaling within your interior scenes. Maintain the integrity of the foliage geometry by utilizing tags to toggle visibility during the active modelling phase. When rendering, ensure the texture maps for the pots and leaves are correctly linked to your chosen render engine's material editor to preserve the intended surface finishes and light-transmitting properties of the plant leaves.

These plants are essential for adding life and organic texture to residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and contemporary office break-out spaces. They pair well with minimalist furniture or industrial-style interiors, acting as a soft contrast to hard surfaces like concrete or steel. Professionals should search for these assets when looking to populate architectural visualizations with realistic indoor greenery that adds a sense of scale and domestic comfort to project renders at the final presentation stage.
