About this asset

This Revit family provides a standard soccer goal featuring a sturdy metal frame and integrated netting for site master planning. The soccer goal consists of a tubular metal frame assembly configured for standard pitch use. The structure includes two vertical posts connected by a horizontal crossbar, complemented by rear support members that provide tension for the attached netting. The geometry is clean and functional, designed to represent the essential proportions of a regulation-sized goal without unnecessary complexity. The mesh net is rendered as a simplified surface, suitable for clear site plan representation and basic 3D massing within a BIM environment. The overall design prioritises clarity and lightweight performance for large-scale site models.

The download is a 389 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this family is best utilised as a site component to populate recreational areas or school grounds. Architects can place the object directly into the site plan or a 3D view, ensuring correct orientation relative to the pitch layout. Given its simple geometry, it is ideal for maintaining file performance when visualising large exterior spaces. Users should manage visibility settings to toggle the net detail depending on the required level of graphic clarity for specific project documentation phases.

This asset is essential for landscape architects and master planners working on educational campuses, public parks, and community sports facilities. It serves as a vital element for defining site amenities during the early design and planning stages. Professionals looking for site-specific outdoor recreation components will find this useful for creating accurate site context. It pairs effectively with other outdoor site furniture, such as benches and lighting, to create comprehensive recreational zones in both urban and suburban development projects.
