Oriental Brown Wood Altar Cabinet Set

This traditional oriental altar cabinet set for 3ds Max features intricate wood carving and a tall screen for a complete interior shrine. This traditional oriental altar set comprises a tall, framed screen structure housing a central altar cabinet and a lower storage unit. Constructed from warm, natural-toned wood, the piece showcases precise joinery and delicate lattice work at the top of the frame. The central cabinet includes two drawers and a lower cupboard section, both adorned with subtle, circular geometric motifs. The overall design emphasizes verticality, symmetry, and cultural heritage, offering a balanced aesthetic suitable for dedicated alcoves. It includes small brass-coloured ritual accessories placed on the surface, completing the authentic appearance of a ceremonial home shrine.

The download is a 19.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

As a 3ds Max asset, this model is organised into logical layers for easy management. Users should check the pivot points upon merging to ensure correct placement against wall surfaces or within custom millwork. The wood textures are UV-mapped for consistent grain orientation, allowing for simple material adjustments to match specific project finishes. Ensure that lighting setups account for the deep frame depth to avoid flat shadows within the cabinet recesses, and consider using a soft ambient occlusion map to highlight the detailed lattice patterns.
