Crouching Person Minimalist 3D Gestural Figure Set

This minimalist crouching person set is a Revit family featuring two gestural figures designed for architectural visualisation. These two crouching figures are represented as simplified, smooth, grey plastic forms, stripped of anatomical detail to focus on gesture and spatial presence. Each figure is captured in a distinct, low-profile pose, making them ideal for placement in tight interior spaces or around low-level furniture. The geometry is clean and lightweight, prioritising silhouette over texture, which ensures the models remain unobtrusive while providing necessary scale and human context within a 3D scene. The set provides two variations of the crouching posture, allowing for subtle diversity in populated architectural renders.

The download is a 1.7 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, these figures function as standard family components. Users can load them into a project and place them directly into floor plans or 3D views to populate scenes. Due to their lightweight, non-textured geometry, they are suitable for quick placement in massing studies or final interior visualisations. They can be rotated to align with furniture layouts or circulation paths, helping to establish human scale without adding excessive complexity to the project file or impacting rendering performance.

These figures are well-suited for adding life to modern residential interiors, commercial lobbies, or retail showroom designs. They pair effectively with low-slung contemporary furniture, such as coffee tables, lounge chairs, or floor-level seating arrangements. Architects and designers use such assets during the schematic and design development stages to illustrate how users interact with space. They are frequently searched for as entourage, staffage, or 3D people to provide a sense of proportion in architectural visualisations and interior design presentations.
