About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model of a double bed features an upholstered beige base and a distinct brown quilted headboard configuration. This double bed assembly presents a balanced contemporary aesthetic, anchored by a low-profile base upholstered in a neutral beige fabric. The standout design feature is the dual-section headboard, which is finished in a rich brown fabric with a subtle geometric quilted texture. The set includes a realistically draped bedding arrangement, comprising a smooth duvet and two pillows, paired with a darker textured throw blanket draped across the foot. The clean, linear geometry of the frame provides a structured look, suitable for modern interior schemes where comfort and refined textile detailing are prioritised.

The download is a 73.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured for efficient scene integration, with the bed components grouped for easy placement and scaling. Users should check the pivot point at the base for accurate floor alignment. The materials are pre-assigned, allowing for quick adjustments to the fabric diffuse maps or bump settings to match specific project lighting conditions. Ensure the geometry is merged into a clean layer structure to maintain scene organisation when populating bedroom layouts or architectural visualisations.

Ideal for residential master suites, guest bedrooms, and high-end hotel room visualisations, this bed serves as a primary focal point in any sleeping space. It pairs effectively with minimalist bedside tables, soft ambient wall lighting, and neutral area rugs. Architects and interior designers will find this asset useful for staging projects at the concept or final render stage, particularly when aiming for a sophisticated, layered look that relies on contrasting fabric textures to add depth to the room.
