Zen Garden Landscape Scene with Trees and Rocks

This Zen garden landscape scene for SketchUp features three distinct trees, ornamental grasses, and rock formations on gravel. This landscape composition captures a minimalist Japanese-inspired aesthetic, featuring three mature trees with varying canopy densities and branch structures. The ground plane is meticulously detailed with a white gravel base, interspersed with grey boulders and clusters of low-lying shrubs and ornamental grasses. The arrangement balances soft, organic vegetation with the hard, geometric presence of the stones, creating a tranquil, structured outdoor environment. The scene is delivered as a cohesive unit, providing a complete visual solution for exterior architectural visualisations that require a refined, naturalistic, and well-composed garden setting.

The download is a 498 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this scene is best utilised as a reference point for site planning or as a background element in architectural renderings. Professionals can place the asset directly into their master plan, scaling the group to match the project site dimensions. Because the components are grouped, users can easily toggle visibility of individual trees or rocks to customise the density of the garden. Applying high-resolution textures to the ground plane and adjusting shadow settings will help integrate the scene into your specific lighting environment.
