About this asset

Potted tropical plant in a light wood stand for SketchUp, featuring lush green foliage housed in a minimalist elevated planter. This indoor plant features broad, lanceolate leaves with a vibrant green finish, arranged in a dense, upright cluster. The foliage is contained within a simple, cylindrical off-white pot, which is supported by a slender, four-legged light wood stand. The stand includes a central cross-brace for structural stability, elevating the greenery to create a distinct vertical focal point. The clean lines and natural materials reflect a contemporary aesthetic, making this piece suitable for various interior settings where a touch of nature is required without the clutter of larger, floor-bound arrangements.

The download is a 68.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this asset is best managed as a component to keep file sizes manageable. Users should place the component directly into the model, using the native move and rotate tools to position it within interior scenes. Materials are applied using standard SketchUp texture mapping; ensure the component is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling. If rendering with external plugins, verify that the leaf geometry maintains transparency maps for realistic light filtration through the foliage.

This plant is ideal for residential living rooms, modern office lobbies, and boutique hotel interiors. It complements minimalist and contemporary design schemes, working well when placed beside armchairs, near windows, or in empty corners that require visual softening. Professionals often search for this asset when looking to add life to architectural visualisations or to fill dead space in a floor plan. It pairs effectively with other indoor greenery, neutral furniture palettes, and natural wood accents to create a balanced, inviting atmosphere.
