About this asset

This SketchUp model features a potted Schefflera plant in a tapered grey stone container, ideal for adding organic detail to interiors. This asset depicts a Schefflera, commonly known as an umbrella plant, characterized by its compound leaves radiating from a central stem. The foliage displays a vibrant green hue with realistic texture mapping. The plant is housed in a tall, tapered rectangular planter made from a light grey stone material with subtle natural veining. The proportions are balanced, making the plant suitable for placement in corners or as a singular decorative accent. The geometry provides a clean, contemporary aesthetic that integrates well into various professional interior design schemes without overwhelming the space.

The download is a 2.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can import this SketchUp component directly into their master scene files using the native component browser. The geometry is grouped for easy selection and repositioning. To optimize performance in larger models, consider using a proxy or managing the foliage on a dedicated layer. Materials are standard SketchUp textures; these can be mapped to render engine-specific shaders, such as V-Ray or Enscape, by adjusting transparency settings for the leaves and reflection values for the stone planter finish.

This potted plant is a versatile addition to residential living rooms, modern office lobbies, and boutique hotel reception areas. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture or industrial-style decor, providing a necessary splash of green to soften harsh architectural lines. Professionals searching for botanical assets for interior staging, architectural visualization, or commercial space planning will find this model useful for adding life to renders. It is particularly effective when placed in pairs or grouped with other indoor greenery to create a layered, natural composition.
