About this asset

This potted olive tree SketchUp model features a minimalist slatted timber planter, ideal for adding greenery to interior spaces. The assembly comprises a central olive tree specimen surrounded by a mix of smaller succulent and ground-cover vegetation. The plants are housed in a cubic, vertical-slat timber planter, which provides a clean, rhythmic texture. The light, natural wood finish contrasts with the silvery-green foliage of the olive tree and the deeper greens of the lower planting. The proportions are balanced, making it a versatile decorative element for both residential and commercial interiors. The model is presented as a singular, self-contained unit, ready for placement in various architectural contexts.

The download is a 52.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this model into your SketchUp project, import the file as a component to maintain file efficiency. Use the scale tool to adjust the overall size to fit your specific interior scene, though it is modelled to standard proportions. The textures are mapped to the geometry, allowing for quick rendering adjustments if using third-party plugins. Ensure the component is placed on a dedicated 'Vegetation' or 'Decor' layer to keep your model organised and manageable during the design development phase.

This potted arrangement is well-suited for high-end residential lobbies, modern office reception areas, or contemporary restaurant interiors. It works effectively as a focal point in corners or as part of a larger biophilic design scheme in an open-plan office. Professionals searching for 'indoor olive tree', 'slatted wood planter', or 'modern lobby vegetation' will find this asset useful for staging architectural visualisations. It pairs well with minimalist furniture and neutral material palettes, providing a natural, soft contrast to hard surfaces like concrete or stone.
