About this asset

This potted indoor plant set for SketchUp features three distinct botanical specimens in varied ceramic and wooden containers. This set comprises three unique indoor plants, each housed in a different style of vessel. The largest plant, likely an Alocasia, sits in a white cylindrical pot elevated on a light wood stand. Accompanying it are two smaller pots: a simple, matte grey cylindrical pot with a matching saucer, and a smaller, white fluted ceramic pot containing a delicate, spiky-leaved plant. The foliage displays natural green tones with varied leaf shapes and textures, providing a realistic contrast between the smooth ceramic surfaces and the organic, layered structure of the plants.

The download is an 18.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these plants are best handled as individual components. Users should import the file and explode the group to manage each plant separately. To optimise performance, apply proxy management if the scene complexity increases. Ensure textures are mapped correctly upon import, and adjust the material properties if using a third-party render engine. These assets are scaled for standard interior use, allowing for quick placement in floor plans or elevation views to add life to architectural visualisations without overwhelming scene geometry.

Ideal for residential, hospitality, and office interior projects, these potted plants serve as essential decorative elements for styling living rooms, lobbies, and reception areas. They pair well with modern minimalist furniture and can be placed on sideboards, coffee tables, or floor corners to introduce organic warmth. Professionals often use these assets in the design development phase to define scale and humanise render outputs. Search for these by terms like indoor greenery, botanical styling, or decorative house plants to populate your architectural scenes.
