About this asset

This 3ds Max set of two contemporary stools features plush fur-upholstered seats supported by distinctive, hoof-inspired teal legs. These stools present a whimsical, contemporary aesthetic defined by their high-pile, fur-effect upholstery. One stool is rendered in a deep charcoal grey, while the second features a lighter beige tone. The seat cushion is rectangular with rounded corners, providing a soft, textured contrast to the rigid, sculptural base. Each stool stands on four legs finished in a vibrant, saturated teal, modelled to resemble animal hooves with textured upper shanks. The design is compact and playful, making it a bold statement piece for interiors that favour unconventional silhouettes and tactile material palettes.

The download is a 181 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is provided as a cohesive group. Professionals should manage the fur-like textures using the native material editor, ensuring the hair or displacement modifiers are correctly mapped for close-up renders. The model is scaled for standard residential use, allowing for easy integration into interior scenes via standard merge or import commands. Users can adjust the base teal material independently of the fur to suit specific colour schemes, ensuring consistent lighting interaction across the scene.

Ideal for eclectic living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or creative dressing areas, these stools add character to any space. They function effectively as accent seating, ottomans, or vanity stools in residential projects. Designers often search for unique, sculptural seating to break the monotony of minimalist arrangements. Pair these with sleek, modern vanity tables or place them as a pair in a contemporary bedroom to introduce texture and a touch of the avant-garde to the room's overall composition.
