Potted Indoor Plant Set with Oriental Decor

This SketchUp model set features four potted indoor plants and an oriental decorative screen with minimalist ceramic planters. The collection includes a diverse selection of indoor vegetation, ranging from a broad-leafed rubber plant and a tropical bird of paradise to a columnar cactus and a bonsai-style pine. The plants are housed in a variety of containers, including clean white ceramic pots and a tall, textured grey concrete planter. Complementing these is an oriental-inspired circular display frame, which incorporates two painted mountain motifs and a small gravel base with decorative stones. Each piece is modelled with attention to leaf texture and branch structure, providing a balanced, curated aesthetic suitable for interior styling.

The download is a 31.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised into groups for easy manipulation. Users should place these assets on a dedicated layer to manage scene complexity and improve viewport performance. Textures are mapped for standard rendering, though users may need to re-link files if the path is broken. When scaling, ensure uniform adjustment to maintain the integrity of the planter proportions. For final visualisations, applying custom material overrides or adjusting the transparency of the leaves can enhance the realism of the foliage under different lighting conditions.
