About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model set features two distinct indoor potted plants, each showcasing different foliage and planters. The set includes two indoor plants with varied botanical forms. The first, a tall, broad-leaved specimen, sits within a ribbed, cylindrical white ceramic pot. The second is a smaller, variegated plant housed in a white pot elevated by a minimalist black metal wire stand. Both models feature realistic leaf textures and soil detailing within the containers. The contrast between the organic, vibrant green foliage and the clean, geometric lines of the planters and supports makes this pair suitable for adding natural elements to interior scenes without overwhelming the surrounding design.

The download is a 12.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, import these assets as components into your scene. Each plant is grouped, allowing for easy placement and rotation to catch natural light. Use the scale tool to adjust their size relative to furniture, and ensure the pivot points are at the base of the pots for quick alignment on floors or surfaces. For high-quality renders, ensure the texture maps are correctly linked and consider applying a slight bump map to the leaf surfaces to enhance light interaction.

These plants are ideal for populating interior spaces such as living rooms, reception lobbies, or modern cafe interiors. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture, side tables, and shelving units, providing a natural focal point in architectural visualisations. Professionals often search for these assets when looking to add life and detail to residential projects, hotel suites, or contemporary office breakout areas. They are useful for both early-stage massing and final high-fidelity rendering, helping to soften hard architectural lines throughout the design process.
