About this asset

This SketchUp model features a curated set of three indoor potted plants, displaying varied foliage textures and container styles. This set includes three distinct indoor plants, each housed in a unique container. The first is a tall, variegated dracaena-style plant in a speckled white cylindrical ceramic pot with small handles. The second is a dense, spiky-leafed shrub set within a smooth, white, rounded ceramic vase filled with decorative white pebbles. The third is a small, broad-leaved plant with a slender trunk, presented in a textured, woven fabric-style planter. The variety in plant height, leaf morphology, and pot material provides a versatile collection for adding natural elements to interior compositions.

The download is a 34.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Import these components into your SketchUp project as individual groups or components to manage scene complexity. Scale the plants uniformly to match your project requirements, ensuring the textures remain mapped correctly to the geometry. When rendering, ensure the plant leaves are assigned appropriate transparency and two-sided material settings to capture light interaction accurately. Use layers or tags to toggle these plants on or off, helping to maintain viewport performance while working on final interior layouts.

These plants are ideal for adding life to residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or modern office reception areas. They work well as accent pieces on sideboards, desks, or console tables, helping to soften hard architectural lines. Architects and interior designers often use such assets to fill empty corners or enhance shelf styling during the design development phase. Search for these by terms like indoor greenery, botanical decor, or potted plants to find similar foliage for your interior visualization projects.
