About this asset

This contemporary tall wine cabinet for 3ds Max features a sophisticated mix of matte grey framing and warm walnut-finished door panels. This floor-to-ceiling storage unit is designed with a balanced, symmetrical composition. It features solid vertical panels finished in a rich walnut veneer, flanking a central open-shelving section. The frame is constructed from a neutral, matte grey material, providing a clean contrast to the organic wood grain of the doors. The central open alcove is divided by horizontal glass shelves, ideal for displaying glassware or bottles. The unit is designed as a single, cohesive storage piece, blending modern minimalist lines with warm material textures to create a functional focal point for interior spaces.

The download is a 45.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is set to the base for accurate placement against walls. The geometry is organised by material, allowing for easy adjustment of the walnut veneer or grey finish via the material editor. Use local coordinates to position the unit precisely in your scene, and consider applying a subtle bump map to the wood grain to enhance realism during final rendering. Ensure all glass components are assigned appropriate refraction and reflection properties for optimal visual depth.

This versatile storage solution is well-suited for high-end residential dining rooms, home bars, or luxury hotel lounge areas where display and organisation are required. It pairs effectively with contemporary minimalist furniture and can be used as a standalone feature or integrated into a larger custom joinery layout. Professionals searching for 'tall display units', 'bespoke wine storage', or 'modern dining room cabinetry' will find this asset fits seamlessly into refined interior design schemes, particularly in projects focusing on clean, sophisticated storage solutions.
