About this asset

This minimalist potted green leafy plant for SketchUp features a transparent glass vase and naturalistic foliage for interior scenes. This decorative botanical asset comprises a small, leafy green plant housed in a slender, cylindrical transparent glass vase. The plant exhibits three distinct, broad leaves with visible veining and a natural, organic posture. The vessel is simple and clear, revealing the stems submerged within. The composition is clean and focused, providing a realistic touch of greenery suitable for small-scale interior applications. Its proportions are modest, making it ideal for placement on surfaces where a subtle, organic accent is required to soften a space without overwhelming the surrounding design elements.

The download is a 1.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp component, import the file directly into your workspace. Use the scale tool to adjust the size according to your specific scene requirements if necessary. The geometry is grouped for easy manipulation and placement on tables, desks, or shelving units. When rendering, ensure the glass material is assigned a standard clear glass property with appropriate transparency and refraction settings to maintain the visual integrity of the vase and the submerged stems within your final architectural visualisation.

This asset is well-suited for residential, hospitality, and office projects where a touch of nature is needed to complete a vignette. It works effectively as a table-top accessory in living rooms, bedrooms, or reception areas. Designers often use such elements to add life to static renderings, placing them on side tables, console tables, or near window sills.
