Contemporary Natural Wood Hanging Shelving Unit with Potted Plants

This contemporary suspended shelving unit for SketchUp features natural wood tiers supported by black metal rods and assorted greenery. The assembly comprises a multi-tiered shelving system suspended from the ceiling via thin black metal supports. The horizontal shelves are crafted from natural-toned wood, arranged in a staggered configuration to provide varying display heights. The set includes a diverse collection of indoor vegetation, including trailing vines, succulents, and broad-leafed potted plants in white and ceramic containers. Additional decorative items, such as small glass vessels and framed typographic artwork, are distributed across the levels. A separate, floor-standing potted plant with a wooden tripod base complements the primary hanging structure, creating a cohesive interior styling set.

The download is a 32 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a single component or group, allowing for easy placement within interior scenes. Users can adjust the height of the suspension rods to suit specific ceiling levels. Materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily swapped or modified in the materials tray. To ensure optimal performance, place the shelving unit on a dedicated layer, keeping the high-resolution plant geometry grouped separately to toggle visibility when navigating complex interior models.
