About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a potted Fiddle Leaf Fig, presented in a textured woven basket for interior styling. A single Ficus lyrata, commonly known as a Fiddle Leaf Fig, is rendered with a slender, vertical trunk and broad, violin-shaped foliage. The plant is housed in a tapered, woven rattan basket that provides a natural, textural contrast to the smooth, deep green leaves. The soil surface is detailed with realistic texturing to enhance visual depth. This asset is scaled for typical interior residential or commercial use, offering a clean, balanced silhouette that works well as a standalone decorative element in various architectural visualization projects requiring organic greenery.

The download is a 7.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this SketchUp model into a project, use the native component structure to manage file weight effectively. The asset is best placed as a component to allow for easy scaling or rotation to suit specific interior compositions. Ensure the textures are correctly mapped within the native material editor to maintain the natural appearance of the leaves and the rattan weave. For high-quality rendering, consider adjusting the transparency settings on the leaf textures to capture light diffusion accurately.

This potted plant is suited for adding life to residential living rooms, modern office lobbies, or boutique hospitality spaces. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture or alongside other indoor greenery to create biophilic design features. Professionals often search for this asset when styling architectural visualizations, staging interior scenes, or populating floor plans with realistic, low-maintenance vegetation. It serves as an ideal accent piece for corners, beside sofas, or placed on low credenzas to soften hard interior lines.
