Contemporary Dark Brown Leather Tufted Lounge Chair

A contemporary dark brown leather lounge chair for 3ds Max, featuring a distinctive grid-tufted seat and a solid wood frame base. This low-profile lounge chair features a deep, grid-tufted seat and backrest upholstered in dark brown leather. The upholstery is segmented into a precise square pattern, providing a structured, comfortable aesthetic. The chair is supported by a robust, curved solid wood frame in a rich walnut-brown finish, which acts as the primary structure and visual anchor for the piece. The proportions are wide and low, designed specifically for relaxed seating. Every detail, from the tension of the leather to the smooth curvature of the timber base, reflects a focus on minimalist, high-quality furniture construction.

The download is an 18.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, use the native pivot point at the base for accurate placement on floor surfaces. The geometry is clean and suitable for high-end interior visualisations. Users should apply a sub-division modifier if close-up shots are required to smooth the leather edges. The material slots are clearly defined, allowing for easy adjustment of the leather reflection maps or wood grain texture scaling to match specific project lighting requirements and environmental light intensities.

This lounge chair is ideal for contemporary living room designs, luxury hotel lobbies, and sophisticated executive office lounge areas. It pairs well with minimalist side tables, wool area rugs, and warm ambient floor lighting. Professionals often search for this type of asset when specifying high-end residential interiors or boutique hospitality projects where a statement piece is needed. Its compact yet bold silhouette makes it a versatile choice for creating intimate seating groups in both open-plan spaces and smaller, dedicated reading corners.
