About this asset

This SketchUp model features a decorative set of an indoor bonsai tree and a tall potted plant for refined interior styling. The set includes two distinct botanical elements suitable for high-end interior compositions. On the left, a low-profile bonsai tree features an intricate, gnarled trunk with dense, needle-like foliage, presented in a shallow, wide-rimmed ceramic tray. Accompanying it is a taller, slender plant with vibrant green leaves, housed in a cylindrical, vertically ribbed white planter. Both pieces demonstrate a high level of detail in the texture of the bark and the organic arrangement of the leaves, providing a realistic aesthetic for close-up renders or architectural walkthroughs in modern or minimalist spaces.

The download is a 89.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these assets are typically managed as components to ensure efficient viewport performance. Users can import the model into their scene and utilise the scale tool to adjust the dimensions to suit specific interior proportions. Assigning high-resolution material maps to the leaves and bark will enhance realism in rendering engines. It is recommended to place these on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during the design process, especially when working on complex interior layouts with multiple furniture assets.

These plants are ideal for adding organic warmth to residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or executive office reception areas. They pair effectively with contemporary or Japanese-inspired furniture, such as low-profile sofas, timber sideboards, or stone-cladded feature walls. Professionals searching for interior greenery, biophilic design elements, or specific oriental-style accents will find this set compatible with various project stages, from initial concept visualisations to final high-quality presentation renders. The neutral white planter ensures seamless integration into diverse colour palettes and architectural themes.
