Modern Light Wood Rectangular Planter with Ornamental Grasses

This modern SketchUp model features a light wood rectangular planter filled with five tufts of white-plumed ornamental grass. The asset consists of a clean-lined, rectangular planter box finished in a light natural wood veneer, featuring a recessed base detail that creates a subtle floating effect. Housed within are five distinct groupings of upright, slender-leaved ornamental grasses, each topped with delicate, feather-like white plumes. The arrangement is symmetrical and balanced, providing a structured yet organic aesthetic. The materials are clearly defined with a smooth wood grain texture on the container and realistic, fine-bladed vegetation, making it a reliable component for architectural visualisation where clean, contemporary greenery is required to define circulation paths or partition interior spaces.

The download is a 1.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model functions as a single component, allowing for easy placement and scaling within your scene. The geometry is organised to maintain a manageable file size, ensuring smooth navigation even when duplicating the planter for long corridors or lobby areas. Apply your preferred render engine materials to the wood surfaces for customisation, and ensure the vegetation textures are mapped correctly to retain their translucency and detail. This asset is ideal for populating scenes during the design development or presentation stages.
