About this asset

This SketchUp scene features a flowering red bonsai tree and a traditional tea set arranged on a dark timber display shelf. The composition centres on a miniature flowering tree with vibrant red blossoms, anchored in a shallow rectangular container with moss and rock accents. Beside it sits a dark ceramic tea pot with matching cups on a small wooden tray. The entire assembly rests upon a minimalist black console shelf, which provides a grounded, structural base. The proportions are balanced to evoke a serene, contemplative atmosphere, typical of traditional Japanese interior styling. The model includes the detailed foliage, the delicate ceramic vessels, and the sleek, low-profile timber display surface.

The download is a 209 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this file is best handled as a single component group. Professionals should utilise the native layering system to isolate the vegetation from the hard-surface elements if individual adjustments are required. When merging into a larger project, ensure the file origin is set to the base of the shelf for easy placement on surfaces. Texture mapping on the ceramic and wood components is pre-configured, though users may need to re-link paths if the file is moved between directories.

This asset is ideal for styling interior visualisations in residential, hotel, or spa projects where a focal point of calm is needed. It works effectively on sideboards, console tables, or within custom joinery in living rooms and reception areas. Designers looking for oriental, wabi-sabi, or minimalist interior accents will find this set useful for adding life and cultural detail to rendered scenes. It pairs well with natural stone cladding, timber slats, and soft, diffused architectural lighting.
