About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a low-profile smoke glass vase holding a bundle of dried grasses for interior styling. The piece consists of a squat, cylindrical vase crafted from translucent smoke-tinted glass, featuring a distinct reflective metallic neck collar. Housed within the vessel is a small, organic arrangement of dried, textured green grasses that fan out slightly to one side. The contrast between the sleek, reflective surface of the glassware and the matte, fibrous quality of the dried vegetation provides a balanced aesthetic. The proportions are compact, making it suitable for tight shelf spaces or coffee tables where a subtle, natural accent is required to soften the overall room composition.

The download is a 7.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into SketchUp, ensure the component is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling during render setup. The glass material may require adjustment of transparency and refraction settings within your preferred render engine to achieve a realistic depth. Scale the object relative to your scene furniture to maintain realistic proportions, and consider applying a slight random rotation to the component instance if populating multiple surfaces to avoid a repetitive, uniform look across your interior project.

This decorative asset is well-suited for residential living rooms, modern hotel lobbies, or boutique retail displays. It functions effectively as a finishing touch on sideboards, console tables, or bedside nightstands, adding a lived-in, organic quality to high-end interior visualisations. Designers often search for this type of accessory to populate shelves or entryways, pairing it with books, lamps, or sculptural objects. It is particularly useful during the final stages of a project to inject detail and texture into otherwise minimalist or contemporary design schemes.
