Contemporary Grey Fabric Armchair with Decorative Cushion

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a grey fabric upholstery, a dark frame, and a distinct leather cushion with a geometric pattern. The armchair exhibits a clean contemporary aesthetic, defined by a dark-finished timber or metal frame that contrasts with soft grey fabric upholstery on the seat and backrest. Its profile is marked by slim, tapered legs finished with metallic accents at the feet and armrest terminals. A rectangular throw cushion sits prominently on the seat, featuring a central panel of brown leather flanked by a monochromatic black-and-white geometric textile pattern. The overall proportions suggest a compact lounge chair suitable for refined residential or commercial interiors where comfort and structured design are equally prioritised.

The download is a 6.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users should manage this 3ds Max asset through the layer manager, ensuring the geometry is correctly scaled within the scene unit setup. The materials are structured to allow for easy texture adjustments or re-mapping of the cushion fabrics to match specific project colour palettes. When placing the chair, ensure the pivot point is at the floor level for efficient snapping to the floor plane. The model is well-suited for integration into interior lighting setups, responding effectively to standard area lights and HDRI environment maps.
