About this asset

A contemporary potted plant arrangement in a natural wood slat planter, provided as a high-detail SketchUp model asset. This decorative composition features a central ornamental tree, likely a young olive, surrounded by a variety of low-growing succulents and cacti. The botanical collection is housed within a rectangular planter distinguished by a continuous, vertical slat facade in a light natural wood finish. The planter design incorporates a curved corner, softening the overall geometric form. The arrangement provides a balanced mix of textures, contrasting the fine, silvery-green foliage of the tree with the dense, fleshy forms of the succulents, all contained within a clean, architecturally minded vessel suitable for modern interiors.

The download is a 52.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can import this SketchUp model directly into their projects as a component. Given the high-detail nature of the vegetation, it is recommended to place this on a dedicated layer to manage viewport performance. Materials are applied as standard textures; ensure the wood grain mapping is consistent with your project's scale. For rendering, adjust the transparency and translucency settings on the foliage textures to achieve realistic light filtering through the leaves, particularly when using global illumination or path-tracing render engines.

This asset is ideal for interior design and architectural visualisation projects, specifically for styling residential living spaces, hotel lobbies, and contemporary office reception areas. It functions well as a focal point on sideboards, console tables, or integrated into bespoke joinery. Professionals searching for greenery to add life to minimalist or scandinavian-inspired interiors will find this model versatile. It pairs effectively with natural stone surfaces, plaster wall finishes, and other wood furniture pieces to create a cohesive, organic aesthetic in high-end commercial or residential schemes.
