Contemporary Grey Concrete Linear Fireplace

This contemporary linear fireplace for SketchUp features a sleek concrete base and a black-framed glass enclosure for a refined look. Defined by its horizontal orientation, this fireplace unit sits atop a substantial, rectangular plinth finished in a textured grey concrete effect. The firebox is encased in a minimalist black metal frame with transparent glass panels, providing an unobstructed view of the flame effect. The internal bed is filled with dark aggregate material, enhancing the modern aesthetic. Its clean lines and neutral palette make it a versatile focal point for interiors, combining industrial materiality with a sleek, low-profile form that integrates seamlessly into custom joinery or feature walls.

The download is a 14.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Designed for SketchUp, this model is structured as a clean, component-based asset. Users should import the file directly into their master model, placing the plinth against a wall or within a custom-built recess. The materials are applied using standard SketchUp texture mapping, allowing for quick adjustments to the concrete finish or glass opacity. To achieve the best visual results, ensure the model is scaled correctly against your project's floor-to-ceiling height, and consider applying emissive properties to the fire element within your preferred render engine.

This linear fireplace is an ideal choice for high-end residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or boutique restaurant lounges where a modern, architectural hearth is required. It pairs well with minimalist joinery, large-format tile cladding, or feature stone walls. Professionals searching for a contemporary statement piece will find this useful for mid-to-late stage interior design visualisations. Use it to anchor seating groups or to create a sophisticated atmosphere in open-plan spaces, ensuring it remains the primary focal point of the interior design scheme.
