About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a blue metal arched wall planter grid fitted with wooden pots and lush trailing greenery. The unit comprises a slender, powder-coated blue steel frame designed with an arched top and a modular rectangular grid structure. It incorporates several small, light-toned wooden planter boxes fixed at varying heights across the frame. These boxes house a selection of trailing and bushy indoor plants, including cascading vines that create a soft, organic contrast against the rigid geometric lines of the metalwork. The assembly is lightweight in appearance, suitable for mounting on feature walls, and provides a structured way to integrate biophilic design elements into interior spaces.

The download is an 11.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a single component or group, allowing for easy placement on interior walls. Users can adjust the overall scale to fit specific room heights or duplicate the component to create larger feature wall arrangements. Materials are applied to the frame and planters, while the vegetation uses high-transparency textures. For optimal performance, ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer to toggle visibility during heavy modelling phases or when creating technical documentation.

This wall planter is ideal for modern residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or creative office spaces seeking to introduce greenery without occupying floor space. It works effectively as a focal point in a dining area or as part of a biophilic design strategy in a reception zone. Professionals searching for vertical garden solutions, wall-mounted decor, or indoor plant displays will find this asset useful for adding detail to interior renders and enhancing the visual warmth of contemporary architectural projects.
