About this asset

Tropical bamboo floor lamps provided as a 3D SketchUp model set featuring three freestanding woven luminaires for warm ambient lighting schemes. This collection includes three distinct free-standing luminaires handcrafted in natural bamboo and timber finishes. The first piece features a tapered, spindle-shaped slatted cage rising from a flared circular foot, encasing a tall cylindrical fabric or parchment diffuser. The second design utilizes crossed organic bamboo poles mounted onto a solid wood plinth, suspending an elongated woven shade from a hooked top. The third luminaire is composed like an open architectural pavilion or well structure with twin rustic columns, a pitched slatted canopy, a hanging cylindrical shade, and a tapered basket base.

The download is a 37.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Organised as SketchUp components, each fixture can be placed individually or grouped across spatial layouts. Model layers enable straightforward assignment of self-illuminated emissive materials to the internal shade cores or the placement of point and IES light sources inside each cage. Clean geometry allows easy scaling and swift import into standard architectural rendering plugins without bogging down scene viewport performance.

Ideal for high-end hospitality lounges, wellness retreats, tropical resort guestrooms, spa relaxation zones, and coastal residential terraces. These rustic floor lanterns pair naturally with wicker seating, textured linen upholstery, exposed stone, and lush indoor planters. Designers frequently search for decorative bamboo luminaires, Asian-inspired standing lanterns, and ethnic feature lighting when detailing calming, biophilic interior environments or shaded outdoor pavilions.
