Contemporary Rattan and Acrylic Swing Chair Set

This contemporary SketchUp model set features six diverse swing chair designs, including rattan egg chairs and modern acrylic bubble seats. This collection provides a versatile selection of hanging and floor-standing swing chairs suited for diverse interior and exterior lounge areas. The set includes two traditional rope-suspended flat-seat swings, two teardrop-shaped rattan chairs on black metal frames, one upholstered high-back lounge seat, and two spherical acrylic bubble chairs. Each piece is accessorised with soft cushions or throws, adding a layer of realism to the geometry. The materials range from natural woven rattan and textured fabrics to transparent acrylic and powder-coated steel, offering a mix of organic textures and sleek, industrial-inspired structural elements for various design schemes.

The download is a 39.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 6 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating these assets into a SketchUp model, use the component browser to manage the individual chair instances efficiently. Each chair is modelled with distinct geometry, allowing for easy rotation and placement within hanging points or floor-standing locations. Apply high-resolution texture maps to the cushions to enhance the fabric detail during rendering. Ensure the base of the floor-standing models is correctly aligned with the floor plane, while the hanging models can be adjusted by modifying the rope or chain length to suit specific ceiling heights.
