Oriental Multicolour Fabric and Wood Hanging Lantern Set of 10

Oriental hanging lanterns feature traditional silk and carved wood details in this comprehensive 10-piece SketchUp model set for Asian-inspired schemes. This collection comprises ten distinctive pendant lanterns showcasing traditional East Asian design motifs. The upper row includes six fluid silhouettes ranging from teardrop, bicone, and spherical forms to cylindrical capsules, rendered in gloss bronze, cobalt blue, patterned gold, crimson, and ivory fabrics with delicate wire ribbing and decorative hanging tassels. The lower tier presents four intricate wooden palace lanterns featuring carved timber fretwork, hexagonal framing, multi-tiered brackets, and ornamental corner accents. Translucent yellow parchment and painted panels display classic pictorial brushwork, accented by silk cord drops and corner tassels.

The download is a 24.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 10 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Supplied as native SketchUp components, each luminaire can be placed individually or arrayed along ceiling beams, covered walkways, and verandas. The geometry separates outer wood and fabric envelopes from interior illumination zones, simplifying the assignment of mesh light sources or self-illuminated emissive materials in render plugins. Layered groups allow quick adjustment of suspension cord heights to accommodate varying ceiling levels.

Suited to Asian fusion dining, luxury hospitality lobbies, boutique hotels, cultural pavilions, and courtyard verandas, these fixtures establish immediate cultural atmosphere. They integrate effectively into Indochine, oriental, and traditional tea house interiors, suspended above dining booths, reception desks, or garden walkways. Designers searching for festive Mid-Autumn lanterns, Hoi An silk lamps, or imperial timber pendants will find adaptable assets across schematic concept designs and final interior visualisations.
