About this asset

Oriental brass lantern wall sconces bring refined ambient lighting to interiors in this detailed SketchUp model set featuring decorative tassels. This 3D model presents a pair of Chinese-inspired lantern wall luminaires, each composed of a geometric metal armature supporting an elongated tapered lampshade. The central shade features translucent off-white fabric or paper diffusion surfaces bounded by crisp corner framing. An open outer cage contours around the shade, joined to a decorative circular ring and lower hanging tassel finial. Mounting hardware includes shaped wall brackets presented in two distinct metallic finishes: a deep antique brass on one variant and a bright polished gold on the other, creating versatile decorative options.

The download is a 38 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Organized as native SketchUp components, each fixture can be placed directly onto vertical wall surfaces and grouped independently. Materials are partitioned between metal brackets, decorative tassels, and translucent shade geometry. Users can configure two-sided emissive materials or insert omni lights within the lantern frames to simulate realistic, diffused interior glow when rendering with compatible extension engines.

Tailored for luxury hospitality, high-end residential, and fine dining projects, these oriental lantern sconces complement tea rooms, bedroom headboard accents, hallway corridors, and restaurant booths. The fixtures integrate seamlessly alongside timber slat wall paneling, natural stone cladding, and minimalist Asian joinery. Specifiers searching for Chinese wall lamps, Asian pendant sconces, or brass accent luminaires will find this model well-suited for early concept visualisation and presentation renderings.
