About this asset

Modern column floor lamp SketchUp model featuring stacked curved black metal shades with warm interior brass reflectors on a slender stem. This luminaire features a slender vertical brass stem anchored to a weighted circular black disc base. Stacked vertically along the post is a rhythmic arrangement of curved, semi-cylindrical metal light shields finished in matte black on the exterior. Several tiers reverse to reveal spherical diffuse light sources nested within warm reflective brass backing panels. The alternating open and closed geometries generate directional ambient illumination while providing sculptural presence from all viewing angles. Clean joints and minimal hardware maintain an architectural, tailored profile.

The download is a 36.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Supplied as a native SketchUp component, the fixture imports directly into floor plans with its base resting at zero elevation. Grouped geometry separates the metallic stem, matte outer louvres, and emissive light sources, allowing rapid material editing or shader assignment in rendering plugins such as V-Ray or Enscape. Adjust emissive material values or add omni light points at bulb centres to calibrate realistic interior lighting.

Well-suited for residential living rooms, hotel guest suites, executive offices, and upscale lounge corners, this sculptural standing fixture serves as both task-oriented ambient lighting and decorative vertical art. It pairs naturally with low-profile sectionals, textured plaster feature walls, and natural timber credenzas. Architects and visualisers frequently specify this style when sourcing modern totem floor lamp, vertical metal standing lamp, or contemporary ambient luminaire assets for high-end hospitality and residential interior visualisations.
