About this asset

Modern black metal arc floor lamp 3ds Max model featuring sweeping curved stems and translucent smoked glass shades for architectural visualisation. This asset collection presents two minimalist arc floor lamps rendered in matte black tubular metal. Each fitting features an exaggerated cantilevered bow supported by slender vertical uprights, anchored by weighted circular bases or minimalist ground pins. The lighting heads showcase distinct translucent smoked glass diffusers: one model incorporates an inverted broad cylindrical drum shade, while the second presents a compact spherical orb. Internal filament-style bulb geometries emit warm interior ambient illumination through tinted glazing.

The download is a 24.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Supplied natively for 3ds Max, the geometry is partitioned into logical components allowing quick adjustment of light sources, shades, and metal finishes. The dual variants can be merged into scenes together or separated as standalone luminaires. Architects and visualisers can align the ground bases directly onto floor surfaces, position photometric target lights within the glass enclosures, and fine-tune material translucency to suit specific daylight or dusk rendering setups.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lounges, private reading nooks, and executive offices, these arched luminaires provide focused task and ambient overhead illumination. Their sweeping profile allows positioning behind deep sectionals, armchairs, or low coffee tables without obstructing floor circulation. Search terms like modern arched floor lamp, black reading light, smoked glass globe lamp, and curved metal standard lamp align with the design characteristics of these architectural fixtures.
