About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp stool features a beige fabric upholstered cylindrical seat set atop a clean, white-finished timber plinth. The stool presents a compact, cylindrical silhouette defined by a smooth, upholstered upper section and a contrasting solid base. The seat is covered in a neutral beige fabric, featuring subtle vertical stitching and a central tufted button detail that adds texture to the form. Below, a cylindrical timber base finished in a crisp white provides a stable foundation, offering a distinct material break from the soft top. The proportions are balanced for occasional seating, making this piece a versatile addition to modern interior schemes that require understated, functional furniture elements.

The download is a 9.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can easily adjust the material mapping on the fabric surface to match project-specific colour palettes or textures. The model is structured with distinct geometry for the seat and base, allowing for quick material overrides or scale adjustments. It is best practice to place the stool on a dedicated furniture layer to ensure easy visibility toggling and to prevent cluttering the main model workspace during the design process.

Designed for residential and hospitality environments, this stool functions well as an accent seat in a living room, a bedroom vanity stool, or a compact seating solution in a boutique hotel lobby. It pairs effectively with minimalist interiors or soft-furnished spaces where a neutral palette is preferred. Professionals looking for a contemporary pouf or a small-scale ottoman will find this asset useful for staging high-end residential projects or commercial lounge areas, where it complements both modern and transitional design styles.
